The Value Of Work

Work is good and one of the primary ways that we serve others. Often this is in exchange for money but it doesn’t always have to be.

Examples might include: helping a friend or neighbor, teaching a Sunday school class or even fixing or cleaning things around the house.

Work is a way we use our gifts and abilities to serve others. The greatest work ever accomplished is the work of Jesus Christ to redeem fallen rebels.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, Ephesians 1:7

Jesus lived a perfect sinless life and fulfilled the law, then as fully God and fully man he went to the cross and paid an infinite Hell debt in our place. You must turn from self and sin and put all of your trust in his redemptive work on your place.
