Slow Down

Our culture and lives move at a frenetic pace. We rush from activity to activity in an endless quest to get more done faster. We even zip across the rooms in our homes past the very people that matter most in an attempt to get more done.

It is time to ask the question: Why are we in such a hurry?

Could it be that we are not resting in God’s faithfulness and provision for each day?

Do we recognize that we are creatures (made in the image of God to reflect him) and not able to do all things at once?

Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him. Psalm 62:1
