Contentment Amidst Chaos

As Black Friday is upon us we can not but help to notice the shift in hearts and minds from contentment to consumption. It is as if the day after Thanksgiving a gear shifts in this nation from thankfulness to the desire to consume and spend.

Gifts can be a great gesture of love but nothing comes close to God’s greatest gift to guilty rebels:

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2

As Christmas approaches we encourage you to ponder the wonder and mystery of the gospel and to rejoice in its glorious light!
